♠ i should be finishing my yuletide_smut challenge but errrrrrrrrrgh, can't be aaaarsed. i've still got the deep twighlight forest still to do for the second time on suikoden v, then adam wants me to write some script for Strawberry Island when i just want to get started drawing the backgrounds already and doing tones. argh. also, latest Junjou, Kuroshitsuji and Tales of the Abyss to watch. speaking of which, i could come to realy freaking hate Natalia. i may not like Luke sometimes, but damn, i get what he's feeling. he has the mind of a kid, yo, and he has never been outside of the mansion until now. give him a break, princess (¬____¬)

nyerr, anyway, that's vented some of the frustration there. after i've done allor most of these things, i really need to get started on the next chapter of 'Deadwalk'. I kinda need a Clavis icon though....

♠heyhey. geh. still not finished anything i said i would last week. it's not as though i'm stumped for inspiration, just things have come up. you know, rl.

um, okay, games-wise, i completed the first three missions of Devil May Cry again, and this time i defeated Phantom on my own. actually, it took me 6 minutes for that mission, which i was kinda proud of. it seems that i remembered where to go and what to do pretty well.... uuuh, and i remembered that the shotgun was better for some situations. the Sin Scissors still freak me out a little. not so much what they are, just the laughter i think.

anyway, this morning, i decided to go and look up some DMC 4 cutscenes, because, let's face it, i'm not a gamer for the gameplay as much as for the stories/characters. also, because i confused the hell out of myself and Phil trying to remember what i'd read about the synopsis of 4, hehehe, while he was defeating Nelo Angelo for me (>___>)/ [shrug]

oh, on monday night, Phil completed Dirge of Cerberus as i watched. there was rage for the dialogue of that game. so. muh. rage. i mean 'It's time to save the world'!? from mother-fuckin' Vincent Valentine? does anyone else see the wrong in this? please, speak up. and Lucrecia bugs the fuck outta me too. hysteria, thy profession is incompetent scientist.
anyway, because i demand perfection and much storyline from these RPG type games, i needed all of the capsules and reports. however, this was not to be, and Phil wouldn't - wouldn't, I say - take the time, even on the extra missions, to look for any past the time i decided to throw away the piss-poor walkthrough i downloaded. geh. anyway, the secret ending was looked up on the YouTube, and was decidedly not worth it anyway. murr for DoC, muurrrrrr.

♠right, first of all, getting the faggotry out of the way. the editor for Burai came back with, 'oh yeeeah, actually this is what we really wanted you to do' and told me to rewrite the translation as a proper log. this was clearly going to be some effort, so i haven't finished yet.

third (or second, depending on how you look at it from ff.net point of view) chapter to 'Deadwalk' ain't coming out anytime this evening at least. um, good news though, feeling a little inspired to write much fic.

on saturday, we all went down to the anime expo (Telford ver. XDDDFAIL) which was busier than I thought it would be. many cosplayers, including shiv and co. she was Ukitake; there was also an Aizen (Emma, who really only needed the haori and such XD); um, their friend matt was Gin, and there was a Hitsugaya and a Hinamori. i kinda wished i'd thought to finish off my Mello cosplay but also, it was really rather hot. Still, it was fun and I got a Byakuya plushie ♥, a random Kosen yaoi and a Trinity Blood novel I was missing. there was a stand promoting their manga, British-produced but published in the Japanese format, so i had a look at his stuff. The art style is pretty much DBZ, which i'm not really that fond of, but the story is quite interesting. Plus, where else would you get five volumes for £15 (approx. $27 - and i can see how much manga is in the US)?

it was fun seeing the variety of costumes anyway and in the queue, we saw a D.Grayman group doing the carameldansen. fun fun. there were a few jrockers, though not instantly recognisable. many Dr Who/Star wars... Afro Samurai, Naruto, of course, Bleach (many many Hitsugaya and Urahara cosplayers and another Ukitake)and one couple who had their kids dressed up as Link and Mario. that was really cute.

after that, we went round to Tom's to finish off the Gaslight rp. which we did do and Elliot kicked some crystal dragon ass. Czernebog ended up missing presumed dead, but he's really that powerful a character, we're still wondering really. chibi party coming up though, so we're gonna end up getting drunk for that one. should be fun - i think Phil was going to try out the Venture Bros. Trial of the Monarch for Alexi duGalle. meh, anyway, something to look forward to. i don't know when we're suppposed to be starting the Mutants & Masterminds one.

aaaaaanyway. i was on a roll last night [after the Diamond Dust Rebellion movieOMGSHUNSUI/UKITAKECANON♥] with regards to the latest instalment of Deadwalk, and boyfriend-permitting, i might be able to post it tonight or tomorrow. eh, who knows.

the editor of Burai, for which i was cleaning up the translation is supposed to have some questions for me. i just wish he/she would hurry the fuck up with them already. no wonder they don't get many releases out. lucky for them, the Shinsengumi are awesome, and Ubel Blatt is mindfuck love.

♠ started playing lst week whilst the net at home was down and fond that i really couldn't stop. i don't think that it's as good as Final Fantasy, yet i guess because it's a story i haven't read yet basically, it's intriguing to me. found part of a really good anthology of doujin for it though.

speaking of FF though, i did manage to play some more of VI. it's just Sabin on his own for this bit, and i can't remember how to use the Blitz command damnit.

i really want to hurry up and get on with the Gaslight rp but there doesn't seem to be a time when everyone's free for more than an evening so it looks like that won't happen for a whle, not to mention Mutants & Masterminds. justwhen i'd pretty much sorted out my chara for that too.

:3 Luan Xi Wu plus aliases. I like the idea of him being more or less mercenary as far as his loyalties go. the Black Dragon Consortium is going to be a bit tricky to juggle as far as maintaining the front as a normal delivery service goes. maa, ii.

♠ ergh, had a post in the middle of the week but the 'net was playing up and lost it all.

i took a few pictures of balthier, just to see how he would come out. sephiroth wouldn't cooperate although there were some nice effects on the a couple of the botched ones.

a bit stuck on the third in the angelique au. um, i started writing with a lumiale focus, which as it's meant to be clavis/julious, won't take up the whole of it. but argh. i know what i want to write but it seems to be a matter of putting it together. the second and third ova i downloaded from crunchyroll have gone a way towards bolstering the lumiale ♥ and there were some awesome clavis caps - wasn't expecting the flashback. oscar/olivie wants in to my brain. this disturbs me at the same time that i think i can totally see it.

on real-life - got a job, albeit only temporary for five weeks, with cap gemini/fujitsu, working with databases. 8am start so i'd need to get up at 6, at least, and a 6pm finish. not really the job i was after, but, still, a job. there was a pr assistant and a graphic designer for the council advertised at the stalls today, only my portfolio is kinda incomplete. i really need the last work i did at college but there's no way of retrieving those now, so i need to make do with my first year show work and the poster for the Women's Aid.
